1. Who we are

2. What this policy covers

This policy explains which personal data we process when you visit infinitydevgames.com, sign up for our newsletter or watch a video embedded on the site, in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, Reg. EU 2016/679) and Italian law.

3. Browsing the site

The site is static and does not use analytics, advertising or profiling tools. Our hosting provider (Bluehost) automatically records technical server logs (such as IP address, date and time, page requested, browser) to deliver the site and keep it secure. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running a secure website (art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). These logs are kept for the period set by the provider and are not used to identify visitors.

4. Newsletter

If you subscribe, we process your email address to send you news about our games and studio. Legal basis: your consent (art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time using the unsubscribe link in every email.

The newsletter is managed through Mailchimp, a service of Intuit Inc. (USA), which acts as our data processor. Data may be transferred to the United States under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and/or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. Subscription uses a double opt-in: you will receive an email to confirm. Mailchimp may use measures such as reCAPTCHA (Google) to prevent abuse during signup. We keep your address until you unsubscribe.

5. YouTube videos

Trailers are embedded in "privacy-enhanced mode" (youtube-nocookie.com) and are loaded only when you click play. Before that, no connection is made to YouTube. Once you start a video, YouTube (Google Ireland Ltd. / Google LLC) may process your IP address and set cookies or similar technologies under its own privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy.

6. Cookies and local storage

This site does not set any cookies of its own. It stores a single technical value in your browser's local storage to remember that you closed the information notice. No consent is required for this. Third-party services (YouTube, Mailchimp) may set cookies only when you choose to use them, as described above.

7. Links to other sites

The site links to external platforms (Steam, PlayStation Store, Xbox, Nintendo eShop, Discord, social networks). When you follow these links, the privacy policies of those platforms apply.

8. Email contact

If you write to us, we use your address and the content of your message only to reply. Legal basis: steps taken at your request and our legitimate interest in answering (art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).

9. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, to restrict or object to processing, to data portability and to withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, www.garanteprivacy.it).
